Germidine Surgical Scrub contains Povidone-Iodine 7.5% w/v, an effective cleansing solution for immediate germicidal action, prior to surgery.
USES
For preparation of the skin prior to surgery.
Helps to reduce germs on the skin that can potentially cause infection.
Significantly reduces the number of microorganisms on the hands and forearms prior to surgery or patient care.
As a hand wash, to reduce germs on the skin.
DIRECTIONS
Surgical Hand Wash: Wet hands and forearms with water. Pour about 5 ml of Germidine Surgical Scrub on the palm and rub the same thoroughly over the entire area for about 2 minutes. Finally rinse thoroughly under running water.
Preoperative Skin preparation: Apply Germidine Surgical Scrub (1ml is sufficient to cover an area 20-30 sq. in) on the pre shaved and wet skin and rub the same thoroughly for minimum of 2 minutes. The lather so developed may be rinsed off with sterile gauze saturated with water. The area may be painted with Germidine Antiseptic Solution and allowed to dry.
